Sacred Bansi Academy, operated by Nishant Divate, respects your privacy. This policy explains how the Sacred Bansi Academy website and Android app collect, use, protect, retain and delete personal information.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- Account information: your name, email address and account identifier when you register or sign in.
- Learning information: course enrolment, access status, class schedules and information needed to provide lessons.
- Communications: enquiries, support messages and private messages exchanged with the guru through the website or app.
- Technical information: limited service and security information automatically processed by our hosting and authentication providers so the service can operate safely.
We do not use the app to collect precise location, contacts, health information, photos, microphone recordings or advertising identifiers. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure student accounts, provide enrolled course and class access, show schedules and learning materials, reply to messages and enquiries, manage the academy, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
Payments
If a student uses an external payment service, payment credentials such as card or UPI details are processed by that payment provider under its own privacy policy. Sacred Bansi Academy does not store complete card or UPI credentials.
Service providers and sharing
We use trusted service providers, including Google Firebase, for authentication, database and related infrastructure. These providers process information only to deliver their services to us and according to their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users, the academy or the public. We do not sell or rent student information.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including authenticated access and encrypted network connections. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so students should protect their passwords and contact us if they suspect unauthorised access.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and learning records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your Sacred Bansi Academy account and associated personal data at any time. See our account deletion instructions. After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymise eligible information, except where retention is legally required.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should contact us before providing personal information for a child.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
